The5ers Review: High Stakes, Hyper Growth, Bootcamp and Futures — Which Program Fits, and What It Pays

The5ers is a prop firm founded in 2016 with four programs: High Stakes, a two-step forex and gold challenge (about $491 for $100k; 10% then 5%; 5% daily and 10% max loss); Hyper Growth, which doubles at every 10% gain toward $4M; a $22 Bootcamp; and CME futures. Payouts every 14 days; the split rises to 100%. Rating 4.4/5.
The5ers has outlasted most of the prop firms that launched after it, and its pitch is a long one: pass, scale, and keep 100% of the profit on an account that can reach $4,000,000. Whether that fits you depends on which of its four programs you buy — and the program names do not make that easy. This review explains each one, the rules that decide pass rates, how payouts and scaling actually work, the platforms and the US route, with a picker that matches your style to a program.

What is The5ers?
The5ers is one of the oldest prop firms in the evaluation era — founded in 2016, operating from London and Raanana in Israel — and one of the few that pre-dates the 2020 boom rather than being created by it. It is best known for forex, gold and index CFD programs with a high ceiling: a balance that can scale to $4,000,000 and a profit split that climbs to 100%. In 2025 it added a CME futures program, and its sister company, Trade The Pool, runs the real-share stock evaluation described in the stock prop firms guide.
This review is for the trader choosing between The5ers and FTMO, FundedNext or FXIFY, and for the trader trying to work out which of The5ers' four programs fits. It covers each program and its price, the rules that decide pass rates, payouts and scaling, platforms (including the US route), where the firm is weak, and a picker that matches your style to a program. Prices and rules were checked in September 2026.
What is the verdict on The5ers?
Rating: 4.4 / 5. A long track record, a Trustpilot score around 4.7 on more than 34,000 reviews, a genuine scaling path, payouts every two weeks and a 100% split for traders who stay. Loses points for a program menu that is easy to misread (the account named "$20k" in Bootcamp starts at $5k), for High Stakes news restrictions, for a 50/50 starting split on the growth programs, and for a futures program that is a newer, less generous product than the CFD side.
Best for: forex and gold traders who want to keep an account for years and scale it, and swing traders who need weekend holds. Not for: futures specialists (the US futures firms pay better), traders who want a 90% split from day one, and anyone who reads only the plan name and not the starting balance.
What are the four The5ers programs?
| Program | Steps | Price (example) | Targets | Daily loss | Max loss | Split | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| High Stakes | 2 | $491 for $100k (New); $545 (Classic) | 10% then 5% (New) · 8% then 5% (Classic) | 5% | 10% | 80% rising to 100% | Three profitable days; 1:100; first payout 14 days after funding |
| Hyper Growth | 1 | ~$850 for $20k | 10% | 3%, pauses the day | 6% static | 50% rising to 100% | Balance doubles at each 10% gain to $4M; 1:30 |
| Bootcamp | 3 | $22 for the $20k track (starts at $5k) | 6% per step; 5% funded | None in evaluation; 3% funded | 5% evaluation; 4% funded | 50% rising | A funded fee is charged on passing; the cheapest entry |
| Futures Day Trade / Swing | 1 | From ~$50 ($25k) · Swing ~$120 ($50k) | 6% evaluation; 4% funded | None | EOD trailing (3–4%) | 80/20 fixed | Per-position consistency rule; activation fee on passing; $2,000 minimum payout |
Read the table by what you want rather than by price. High Stakes is the standard two-step challenge most traders mean by "The5ers". Hyper Growth is a one-step account designed to scale, priced accordingly. Bootcamp is a cheap, slow apprenticeship. The futures program is a separate product with its own rules — the screenshot below is its rule card.
How does The5ers futures program work?

The futures card shows how different the newer product is: a 6% target, a 3% end-of-day max loss on the $25k, a consistency rule applied per position (no single position may supply more than 30–40% of the profit, depending on the plan), a two-mini or twenty-micro contract limit, full commissions charged on the account, a small price and an activation fee on passing. Weekends are not allowed; copy trading between your own futures accounts is. Against the US futures firms — My Funded Futures, Take Profit Trader, Topstep — the 80/20 split and the $2,000 payout minimum are the weak points. The program makes sense for an existing The5ers CFD trader who wants futures under the same roof; it is not why traders choose The5ers.

What does a High Stakes account look like inside?

The dashboard puts the three rules that end accounts in three tiles: progress to the target, the daily loss still available, and profitable days. The daily loss is measured from the higher of the day's starting balance and equity, so an open winner that reverses can use up the day's allowance without a closed loss — the same trap, in CFD form, as the intraday trailing drawdowns on futures accounts. The three-profitable-days rule is easy; the two-minute news window on High Stakes is the one that catches traders who hold through releases.
Leverage is 1:100, which is generous for an evaluation and the reason the 5% daily limit must be sized deliberately: one full-sized gold position with a wide stop can use most of it. The lot size calculator converts a stop distance into a position that respects the limit.
How do The5ers payouts and scaling work?

| High Stakes | Hyper Growth | Bootcamp | Futures | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| First payout | 14 days after funding | On reaching the target | On reaching the funded target | After the cycle; $2,000 minimum |
| Cycle | Every 14 days | Per scaling step | Per step | Per cycle |
| Minimum request | $150 | $150 | $150 | $2,000 |
| Split | 80% → 100% as the account scales | 50% → 100% | 50% → higher | 80% fixed |
| Scaling | Balance increases at each milestone | Doubles at each 10% gain | Grows with the balance | None |
| Ceiling | $4,000,000 across programs | $4,000,000 | $4,000,000 | — |
Processing is quoted at around eight business days, and each scaling step resets the 14-day payout clock — a detail that costs traders a payout when they scale the week before they expected to withdraw. The scaling path is the firm's real advantage: few competitors offer a credible route from a $100k account to seven figures, and The5ers has been doing it long enough to show traders who have walked it. The FTMO review covers the main alternative scaling plan.
Which platforms and rules apply at The5ers?
- Platforms. MetaTrader 5 (free), cTrader (a small extra charge), and TradingView. Platform choice is final after purchase.
- US residents. Accepted subject to eligibility checks, with new US CFD accounts routed to TradingView rather than MT5 or cTrader — see the US prop firms guide.
- News. High Stakes blocks trading two minutes either side of high-impact releases; the growth programs are looser.
- Weekends. Allowed on CFD programs; not on futures.
- Expert advisors. Allowed only with written approval; third-party EAs are banned; copy trading is banned on CFDs and allowed between your own futures accounts.
- Corporate structure. Two entities, one in the UK and one in Israel; check which one your account is with in the terms.

Worked example: a $100k High Stakes run
A gold trader buys High Stakes New at $100k for $491. Step one needs $10,000 under a $5,000 daily limit and a $10,000 max loss. Risking $500 per trade (0.5%) on London and New York sweeps of XAUUSD with Zeno Gold marking the levels, she needs roughly ten net winning trades at 2R; it takes four weeks. Step two, $5,000, takes two more. Funded at 80%: the first payout comes 14 days after funding — $3,200 net on a $4,000 fortnight — and the account scales at its first milestone. Total cost $491; first payout about seven weeks after purchase. The habit that got her there was the size: half a percent per trade made the daily limit ten losing trades away, which it never came close to.
What mistakes do traders make with The5ers?
- Reading the program name as the starting balance. The $20k Bootcamp starts at $5k.
- Trading High Stakes through news. Two minutes either side of a high-impact release is off-limits.
- Letting an open winner reverse past the daily limit. The limit counts equity, not just closed trades.
- Scaling the week before a planned withdrawal. Scaling resets the 14-day clock.
- Choosing the futures program for the brand. The US futures firms pay more and sooner.
- Running a third-party EA. Banned; your own needs written approval.
How we trade a The5ers account
High Stakes rewards exactly the Smart Money discipline: a 4-hour bias, a sweep of the Asian range or the previous day's extreme at the London open, displacement, and an entry from the order block or fair value gap it left, at a size that keeps the daily limit many trades away. Zeno draws those levels on the TradingView chart — which, for US traders, is also the execution platform — and the session indicator marks the windows. The TradingView prop firms guide compares The5ers' connection with the other forex firms, and the evaluation strategy lesson is the plan.
Choose The5ers for the long game: a firm that has paid since 2016, a 14-day payout cycle, and a real path from a $100k account to seven figures at a 100% split. Buy High Stakes if you want the standard challenge, Hyper Growth if you want to scale and can pay for it, Bootcamp if you want the cheapest entry and do not mind starting at $5k. Size so the daily limit is ten losing trades away, stay out of the news window, and do not scale the week before you withdraw.

Do you know The5ers programs?
Questions traders ask about The5ers
Yes. The5ers has operated since 2016 through Five Percent Online entities in the UK and Israel, has a Trustpilot rating around 4.7 on roughly 35,000 reviews as of August 2026, and pays every 14 days. As with every evaluation firm, accounts are simulated and most participants do not reach a payout; the firm is reliable about paying those who do.
Checked September 2026: High Stakes is about $491 for a $100k account on the New variant ($545 Classic), with smaller sizes cheaper; Hyper Growth is about $850 for $20k; Bootcamp costs $22 to enter on the $20k track plus a funded fee on passing; the futures program starts around $50 for $25k, with Swing around $120 for $50k buying power and an activation fee on passing.
Two steps: a 10% then 5% target on the New variant (8% then 5% on Classic), a 5% daily loss limit, a 10% max loss, at least three profitable days, 1:100 leverage, and no trading two minutes either side of high-impact news. Funded accounts start at an 80% split rising to 100% as they scale, with the first payout 14 days after funding.
A one-step program — about $850 for a $20k account — with a 10% target, a 3% daily loss that pauses the day rather than ending the account, a 6% static max loss and 1:30 leverage. Each 10% gain doubles the balance, up to $4,000,000, and the split starts at 50% and climbs to 100%.
The cheapest entry: $22 for the $20k track, three 6% steps with no daily loss limit and a 5% max loss in evaluation, then a funded fee and a funded account that starts at $5k with a 50% split and grows. Slow, cheap and forgiving.
Yes, since 2025: Day Trade and Swing programs with a 6% target, an end-of-day trailing max loss, no daily loss limit, a per-position consistency rule, a fixed 80/20 split, an activation fee on passing and a $2,000 minimum payout. Futures specialists usually get better terms at US futures firms.
Subject to eligibility checks at signup. New US CFD accounts are placed on TradingView rather than MT5 or cTrader, because MetaTrader is unavailable to US clients.
Only with written approval for your own EA; third-party EAs are banned, and copy trading is not allowed on CFD programs. Copying between your own futures accounts is permitted.
FTMO for a mainstream two-step challenge with static drawdowns and a large platform choice; The5ers for a longer scaling path to $4,000,000, a split that reaches 100%, and a cheap Bootcamp entry. Both are long-running and reliable payers.
